High-speed winder ASW

The ASW winder model is the automatic version of the well-known and globally renowned Oerlikon Barmag groove roller - type SW.

These winders are characterized, thanks to their groove roller traverse system, by an excellent package build. Yarn tensions arising between the spinning nozzle and the winder are well balanced by the groove roller. The ASW can be used on the textile titer range, but can also be used in technical yarn processes.

There are a total of three different chuck lengths of 600 mm, 920 mm and 1,200 mm available for the ASW. Up to 12 threads can be processed on the 1,200 mm long chuck. The maximum speed of the ASW craft winders is currently 5,000 m/min. The maximum speed of the ASW craft winders is currently 5,000 m/min. Our target is to reach the limit of 5,500 m/min.

The threads are treated very gently by means of a special chuck movement during the change process. This makes it possible to use the winder even for very sensitive yarns.
