Multispindle texturing machines – FK6-1000, AFK and MPS

The universal machine concept for cabled and special yarns

Yarns are not just being newly created and developed in fashion. Increasingly popular “fancy yarns” are being found in clothing and home textiles.
Oerlikon Barmag’s solution is the multispindle machine, capable of efficiently manufacturing cabled yarns or – with the help of additional components – numerous special yarns (two-tone and core/effect yarns, 2-component yarns as well as yarns with varying shrink factors).

The proven texturing machine types FK6-1000, AFK and MPS are available as multispindle units.

For producing cabled standard yarns, Oerlikon Barmag offers multispindle machines:

Production doubling of two-end S/Z yarns in comparison to single-end machines (at the same speed);
Cabling of S/Z, S/S, Z/Z combinations;
Highest speeds for producing yarns made from various polymers (PES and PA) and POY and FDY filaments, as well as combinations with micro filaments of 0.3 dpf.

Oerlikon Barmag multispindle texturing machines for producing special yarns excel in terms of:

Additional feed shafts (up to a total of 4 shafts for the FK6-1000);
Hot pins, air jets and similar units for yarn pre-treatment or for bypass yarns;
Differing texturing of 2 yarn threads (e.g. by varying the running speed of the texturing units, disc stacking, draw ratio or yarn temperature)
