Commercial further processing often requires DTY packages of the same running length, which is something that cannot be guaranteed with manual texturing. |

More than 800 delivered AFK and AFK-2 texturing machines represent a new dimension in competitive and efficient texturing.
The excellent properties of the AFK-2 include:
- Each individual take-up position is automated. All packages have the same running length (“metered packages”);
- With its novel traverse motion technology, the newly-developed ATT take-up unit operates at the highest take-up speeds and guarantees a perfect and even package build;
- An optimized yarn path in the twist zone ensures the highest yarn quality;
- Unitens® sensors on each position create transparency in the product quality;
- High-temperature impulse (HTI) heaters with patented inserts provide the best temperature profiles. Easy removal of the HTI inserts for cleaning purposes outside the machine increases the machine’s overall productivity.
