ATT (Advanced Take-Up Technology)
Oerlikon Barmag texturing machines equipped with the ATT take-up units unite higher process speeds in texturizing with a perfect and controllable package build.
In addition to the highest texturing speeds, Oerlikon Barmag texturizing machines with the ATT take-up unit offer:

• Steered and controlled package build in accordance with customer requirements;
• Identical setting across all texturing positions; central formulation entry and management through simple-to-use PC user interface (reproducibility);
• Maximum machine productivity, as individual positions can be stopped for maintenance purposes;
• Virtually no wear parts, as only very few, optimally simple mechanical parts are used

Texturing units - For highest demands in texturizing
The Oerlikon Barmag texturing units type 8 (tangential belt drive) and type 8E (individual drive) are designed to meet the high requirements of sophisticated high-speed texturizing machines. Both texturing units have the following characteristics in common:

• high flexibillity for a wide range of yarns up to high denier yarns of 335 dtex (300den)
• constructed for a maximum of 13 discs in 6 mm thickness or 10 discs in 9 mm thickness
• elastic and muffled high speed bearings for extra low vibration at high speeds (up to 22.000 1/min - special sets even up to 33.000 1/min.)
• fixed shaft spacing, unaffected by tolerance requirements, in contrast to hinge-type units that have to be opened
• single-belt execution, consequently no double belt wear
• sturdy design, ensuring reliable operation

Further advantages of the individual driven type 8E texturing unit are low noise level, low variation of revolution, no displacement at S/Z switching, easy reversal of twist direction and decreased energy consumption.

The CreelManager® transfer detector
Oerlikon Barmag is now including the POY feed material in its quality assurance concept.
Benefits provided by the new CreelManager® system are:

• Continuous production of knot-free packages
• Optimized knots due to transfer detection and quality analysis
• Selection and classification of packages with / without knot
• Doff or cut at transfer depending on knot quality
