In 1954, Barmag launched its very first texturing machine. At the time, texturing machines achieved winding speeds of up to 100 m/min. Today, the Oerlikon Barmag range of texturizing machines has a mechanical speed potential of 1,500 m/min.
Components have had to keep pace with speed developments over the past few years and they are decisive for the quality of the finished yarn. Furthermore, customers are increasingly demanding not only optimum texturing machines, but also solutions for optimum yarns, an perfect DTY package and an optimum overall DTY process.
