The next generation of automatic texturing machines

Manufacturing of draw textured yarns was for nearly a decade characterized by manual processes. With changing manufacturing conditions in main production areas the process requirements have changed as well and automatic machines reappear in focus.

The main features of the eAFK include, amongst others:

• Pneumatic string up solution with quick release function swivel arms for easy push in and out of twist stop rollers and yarn guides.
• A variety of heater / cooling combinations for optimum yarn quality and maximum process speed.
• Twist insertion with Oerlikon Barmag friction aggregates to fulfil the highest quality demands within the texturing process.
• Single deck oiling for most accurate oil application, while simultaneously eliminating staining caused by potential oil mist.
• ATT take-up unit for operating at highest take-up speeds and a perfect and even package build.
• IAD - Individual automatic doffer for the highest possible machine efficiency as a result of a sturdy take-up section in low-vibration design combined with Oerlikon Barmag's CPC (contact pressure control) bobbin lever system.
• Fibrevision UNITENS for yarn quality evaluation and quality grading of the produced yarn to provide highest machine efficiency and productivity.
